Biography: A student at Manhattan's American Academy of the Performing Arts, Farentino was mentored by the great Lee Strasberg while working as a waiter to pay his way through school. Worked on Broadway until 1962 when Farentino made his move to television in "Naked City." Farentino continued success on television in such shows as "The Defenders" "77 Sunset Strip" "Ironside" and "The Bold Ones, The Lawyers" for 20 episodes. Farentino worked consistently throughout the 1970's & 1980's in television and on film in "Jesus of Nazareth" a two part mini series.
