Directions: Enter the cemetery, turn left and stop where you see a statue of Jesus on the right, on the curb you will see number 64. Five rows from the curb, in front of the statue is Williamsís grave.
Biography: William Frawley was born in Burlington, Iowa. His first job was as a stenographer for the Union Pacific Railroad. He did vaudeville with his brother Paul, they took the act to San Fransisco in 1910 with pianist Franz Rath. Four year later he began performing with his wife Louise. He moved to Hollywood in 1932 working for Paramount. By the time he got his role on "I Love Lucy" he had performed in over 100 films. He played the role of Fred Mertz from 1951 til the show ended in 1960. Poor health forced his retirement. He collapsed of a heart attack on March 3, 1966, aged 79, walking along Hollywood Boulevard after seeing a movie.
